Lahore Castle and Shalimar Park in Pakistan (photo)

The Lahore Castle and the Shalimar Park are a shining cultural landmark in the Mongol Empire of India and were listed by UNESCO as the World Cultural Heritage in 1981.
Located in the eastern city of Lahore, Lahore Castle was established in 1021 in a rectangle, 380 meters long and 330 meters wide. It was built with large red stones and contained basins, fountains and gardens.

The Shalimar Park was built in 1642 and has diverse landscapes, elegant buildings and a charming environment that was the centerpiece of the imperial family and considered among the world's rare Islamic gardens.
