Osaka in Japan



Osaka (Japan: 大阪 市 = Ōsaka-shi this file Ja-Osaka.ogg) is a city in Japan, and the capital of Osaka Prefecture, located south of the island of Honshu (the largest Japanese mainland Islands), overlooking Osaka Bay and the mouth of the River Eodogawa on Osaka Bay . A population of about 2636257 people (2007).
The city with its suburbs are Keihanshin area which is the second largest urban agglomeration in Japan, in terms of area and population (16.6 million people). This assembly constitute each of the cities: Osaka, Kobe and Sakaúa, runs the length of 75 km, and occupies a volume of exchanges that take place in ports second only to Tokyo Bay area.
Osaka city historically considered as a national cuisine of Japan or the so-called (Japanese: 天下 の 台 所) uttered Tin Nu Hika.
