Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization of the United Nations (UNWTO) chose the Egyptian capital of world tourism to the city of Luxor in 2016, in addition to hosting meetings of the Organization the end of October 2016.
And the relocation of the General Authority of the Egyptian State Information Service, on Thursday, currently 50 countries participate in the activities of the session 103 of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization, approved unanimously on Egypt's hosting of events Session 104 of the organization, during the period between October 30 until November 1, 2016 in Luxor.
According to the Commission, of the Presidency of the Republic in Egypt, that the decision "is an international inauguration of Luxor as the capital of world tourism."
The hosts also Luxor City, during the period from November 1 to 3, 2016, the fifth Summit of the city tourism, according to the 103 approved by the meeting of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization, headed by Egypt, which took place in the city of Malaga, Spain, during the period from May 9 to 11 current.
