DARPA’s Vertical Takeoff and Landing Experimental Plane (VTOL X-Plane) program seeks to provide innovative cross-pollination between fixed-wing and rotary-wing technologies and by developing and integrating novel subsystems to enable radical improvements in vertical and cruising flight capabilities. In an important step toward that goal, DARPA has awarded the Phase 2 contract for VTOL X-Plane to Aurora Flight Sciences.
Prime Uber products company Mr. Jeff Holden said the company is considering the possibility of providing an air delivery of short-haul service using helicopters quit. Holden said that the upper aspires to provide its customers with numerous ways to travel and mobility, so the flight was an obvious choice, it is believed that such a service would be available within a decade.

Anyway, Holden was confident of the speed of development of the project, pointing to the progress of the agency DARPA project in the experimental plane with vertical takeoff VTOL X-Plane, as well as a number of major companies and emerging enthusiastic about the idea.
