Tourist attractions, the coolest in Dubai



Located in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is transformed from a desert region into a modern city with many shopping malls and skyscrapers. In this article we review some of the attractions of Dubai.
1- Burj Khalifa
The building is 829.8 meters tall and is the tallest building in the world. Go up to the 124th floor and take a panoramic view of the city. The tower was completed in 2010 and you can see the desert on one side and the ocean on the other. You can buy tickets early so you do not wait long to get them. The gardens are characteristic of the building and are designed in the form of winding corridors.




2- Dubai Museum
The museum is located in Fort Fahidi, built in 1787 to defend Dubai Creek. Walls were built of coral blocks and were assembled together using limestone. The upper floor was reinforced with wooden pillars, and the roof was constructed from palm, clay and plaster.
Immediately after the fort was built, the ruling family then took up residence there, used the seat of government, and imprisoned. There are old maps of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai in the entrance to the museum, showing the extent of the massive expansion after the oil boom. In the inner courtyard there are a number of traditional boats, a house of palm leaves, a gallery of Emirati musical instruments, photographs covering various aspects of traditional life, as well as many antiques.


3- Bastakiya "Old Dubai"
The Bastakiya district was built in the late 19th century; it was a place for the wealthy, pearl traders and textiles. The neighborhood occupies the eastern part of the Bur Dubai area along the Creek, with coral reefs, limestone, and many walls topped by wind towers. 4- Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House
Sheikh Saeed al-Maktoum was ruler of Dubai from 1921 to 1958, the grandfather of the current ruler. The original house was built in 1896 by the father of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum so that he could monitor the shipping activity of the balconies. The original house was demolished and rebuilt next to the first place, retaining its original features that are visible in carved teak doors and wooden barriers through the windows.
The house has thirty rooms around a central courtyard with wind towers. Inside, there are exhibits, historical photographs, and documents full of fascinating images documenting the period between 1948 and 1953. The naval wing includes pictures of fishing, pearl mining and shipbuilding. There are many letters, maps, coins and stamps displayed throughout the museum, illustrating the development of Dubai over decades.


5- Dubai Creek
Dubai Creek separates the city into two towns: Deira in the north and Bur Dubai in the south. The creek was an influential factor in the growth of the city. 6- Jomira Mosque
The mosque is considered the most beautiful mosque in Dubai and is a replica of the Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo, but it is smaller. Is a great example of Islamic architecture.
