The charm of accommodation in aircraft turned into luxury guest houses

MailOnline Travel searched the world for unique guest houses, originally Boeing 727.
From a Jumbo jet in Sweden to a Boeing 727 in Costa Rica, and a helicopter parked in the English countryside. Here are the planes that have been transformed into luxury hotels:

The Costa Verde in Costa Rica is an old Boeing 727 aircraft that was renovated in 1965 and used for shuttle flights by South Africa and Avianca Airlines.

This fully equipped wing of the fuselage comes with a wonderful view of the forest. The angel rescues the air frame from his resting place at the airport in San Jose, transforming it into a residence with 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, private bathrooms, kitchen and dining area.

The owners also converted the cabin section of McDonnell Douglas, MD-80, into a comfortable country house with a king bed, sitting area, bathroom and kitchen.

At Ream Hills Caravan Park in Lancashire, the Westland Lynx XZ676 helicopter was converted in 1982 into a one-night stay.

Its elegant interior design can accommodate up to 4 people and features a kitchen basin, mini fridge and microwave. A heater is also available to keep warm in the cooler months and a flat-screen TV.

Use of a toilet and shower is included nearby at the location, starting from £ 115 per night.

Jumbo Stay is located at the entrance to Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sweden and is located inside the Jumbo Model 747-212B from 1976.

The plane was purchased in 2006 and all 450 seats were removed for the installation of dormitory-style accommodation, and there are also a number of private rooms.

In total there are 76 rooms, one of which is in the cockpit, and the accommodation starts at about £ 38 per night.

Woodlyn Park, in Wyoming, New Zealand, is home to a variety of unusual housing experiences for visitors, including the Bristol Fryer.

The plane, which was one of the last allied aircraft from Vietnam, was converted into a two-room unit, and one of the bedrooms allows guests to sleep in the cockpit.

Other features include an en suite bathroom and a living area with kitchenette, and guests can have their own meals using the on-board gas fireplace or microwave.

Mains Farm Wigwams, Stirling, Scotland

At Mines Farm Wigwams in Stirling, Scotland, there are refurbished helicopters where visitors can sleep.

Other features include a kitchenette, a bathroom and a seating area in the cockpit where you can enjoy stunning views of the Forth Valley and start a one-night stay of £ 150 for two.

Hangar Hotel, Texas

The unique Hangar Hotel is located in Texas, and features a historic, historic, World War II-like architecture.

Along with 50 rooms, homely accommodation at Gillisby County Airport in Fredericksburg features a wealth of historic aircraft memorabilia and artifacts.

Located next to the slopes of the runway, the hotel offers excellent views of the aircraft, and there is a surveillance surface for flight lovers.

Aviator, Hampshire

The Aviator, at Farnborough Airport, was created as a "Travelers traveling between London and the world's leading destinations", where the building is located next to a private airport.

The most surprising feature is the central corner, with each floor of the hotel overlooking the next floor. At the same time, Sky Lounge overlooks the airport, so guests can sit and watch the runway.

Winvian Farm, Connecticut

The Sikorski Sea King Pelikan HH3F, which was completely restored in 1968, is located in the center of a unique country house with circular blades installed on the roof.

Guests are invited to "take cocktails in the cockpit" or "watch a movie in the fuselage".

A king bed, hot tub and shower outside the helicopter are available to provide more guest rooms, starting at $ 699 per night.
