Al-Farid Palace stands alone among the undulating sands of Madain Saleh, northwest of Saudi Arabia
Known as the city of the people of Thamud to whom God Almighty sent the Prophet Saleh, peace be upon him, and then perished with divine punishment as mentioned in the Holy Qur’an.
Historically called the stone, it was inhabited by the Thamud people since the third millennium BC
