An ancient rock fortress in the middle of the vast forests of Sri Lanka
Known as Pidurangala Rock or Lion's Rock, it is a block of volcanic rock with lion-like legs and on top of it there is a wonderful castle from the remnants of the Sinhalese kingdom.
The castle was built during the reign of King Kasab I (477-495 AD) and is represented in a great palace filled with trees and greenery, in the vicinity of which there is a large lake filled with crocodiles.
