Tanzania tourism
Tanzania is an East African country renowned for its vast wilderness areas. These include the plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari inhabited by the "Big five" (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino) and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa's tallest mountain.
Offshore are the tropical islands of Zanzibar, with Arab influences, and Mafia, with a marine park welcoming whale sharks and coral reefs.
