Regarding the discovery of gas in Morocco.
The British oil and gas company, Chariot, recently reported recording very positive indicators regarding the Anchoua-2 field in Morocco, which is located within the Lixus license off the coast of Larache.
The company announced, in a statement, on Thursday, March 31, that “after analyzing the data of the aforementioned field, it was proven that it contained high-quality dry gas, with more than 96 percent of methane recorded in all the seven discovered gas reservoirs, without any .and impurities, such as hydrogen sulfide or carbon dioxide.”
According to the company, it is expected that “the net production of gas in the Anchoa-2 field will reach 150 meters, instead of the 100 meters announced in the preliminary analysis, compared to 55 meters in the Anchoa-1 field.”
