The vibrant fishing port of Cape Coast faces the waters of the Gulf of Guinea in Ghana.


In the past, Cape Coast was one of the most important cities in Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast). It was the focus of European slave traders, like the rest of the Ghanaian coast, and this fishing village was the last memory of the slaves of their homeland before they were shipped across the ocean Atlantic.
