The Sudanese city of Kassala, with its terrain resembling Mecca, and one of its main landmarks is the Al-Khatmiya Mosque, and behind them are the charming Taka Mountains.
The city is located close to the international border between Sudan and Eritrea, 480 km from the capital, Khartoum.
