An ancient rock fortress amid the vast forests of Sri Lanka.

Known as Sigiriya Rock or Lion's Rock, it is a block of volcanic rock that has legs resembling the legs of a lion, and at the top there is a wonderful castle from the remnants of the Sinhalese kingdom.

The castle was built during the reign of King Kasab I (477-495 AD) and is represented in a great palace filled with trees and greenery, in the vicinity of which there is a large lake filled with crocodiles.
