The famous "Elephant Rock" in Saudi Arabia

#TravelAndLook wishes you a happy day..

The famous "Elephant Rock" in Saudi Arabia is surrounded by a group of light-coloured mountains, 7 km to the east of the Al-Ula Governorate in the Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region.

The rock formation appears in the form of an elephant with a height of 50 meters. The first and most accurate fissure of the rock resembles Khartoum, while the second fissure of the rock, which is larger and thicker, resembles the rest of the elephant's body.

The rock has been known by this name since ancient times, and is more inclined to the shape of the giant mammoth elephant, an animal that became extinct thousands of years ago.
