The Palace of Versailles, the most important French landmark, was built 400 years ago and contains 2,300 rooms, and its gardens extend over 800 hectares.

The beginnings of the château go back to 1682 when Louis XIV decided to move the government to Versailles and turn his father's hunting house into a palatial palace.

It is the seat of the monarchy and a symbol of French pomp and is located in Versailles, 25 kilometers west of central Paris.

The main facade of the palace extends about 80 meters, and it consists of several buildings facing each other and overlooking a square in the middle. The Royal Guard.
