 Jacob's Well: fantastic (and dangerous) entertainment

 Jacob's Well in Texas. The depth of the well makes its bottom inaccessible. Therefore, it seems endless, and the water is so transparent that the illusion of emptiness is created. The well itself is only the entrance to the maze of underwater caves that have existed for thousands of years, and no one knows exactly how deep this well is and what is at the bottom.

  There is something so alluring about a place of beauty and untouched wilderness, and yet it has cost many lives.

 

  Beneath its crystal clear waters – 100 feet below its crystal clear waters, to be precise – Jacob's Well has quietly killed at least 12 people since 1935.

  Nevertheless, this artesian well remains a favorite spot for residents of the Texas Hill Country.

  If you know me, you know that I have a weakness for beautiful nature and beautiful history. Last summer, I took the opportunity to visit Jacob's Fountain.
