The hippopotamus is not fat

Contrary to what most people think, the hippopotamus is not as obese as its appearance suggests, but rather the vast majority of its body is huge muscle mass, with a very thin layer of fat under its thick skin, which is 6 centimeters thick.
It is also surprising that despite its weight, which may reach 4 tons, its running speed on land exceeds the speed of a human.
Although it spends almost most of its life in the sun, it does not get burned.
The reason is that his body secretes sweat consisting of two pigments, a red pigment that acts as an antibiotic, and an orange pigment that absorbs ultraviolet rays. The mixture of the two pigments protects against bacterial infection and at the same time from sunburn.
