In 1977 AD, after the mother had sent her children to sleep and sat watching television alone in the living room, after a while she heard a noise coming from her daughters’ room on the second floor. She shouted, demanding that they stop playing and go to sleep, but the noise continued, so Mrs. Hodgson got up and went up to her daughters’ room to see what was happening. They did, but as soon as she opened the door, she saw the two girls sitting silently in their bed, looking in horror at the heavy wooden wardrobe that had moved from its place against the wall and settled in the middle of the room.
The mother then slowly pushed the closet until it returned it to its place, but as soon as she moved away a little, the closet moved again on its own and returned to standing in the middle of the room. It was terrifying, and the mother had a strange feeling that there was someone with them in the room, an invisible person. Then she heard three successive knocks on the door.
