The Unknown Flight "In 1978, 20-year-old pilot Frederick Valentich disappeared while flying over Bass Strait in Australia.
However, during his last contact, Valentich reported seeing an unidentified flying object hovering over his plane.
He described the object as having a long shape, a metal surface, and green lights.
Air traffic controllers lost contact shortly after the object was reported flying and its engine failed.
Despite extensive searches, neither Valentich nor his plane have been found.
