The strangest hotel in the world (Adrar Amalal Hotel)
Did you know that Egypt has the strangest hotel in the world, specifically in the Siwa Oasis, a unique hotel that has no electricity, no television, no telephone, no air conditioning, and no technology, and is considered one of the most expensive hotels in the world
"Adrar Amalal" Hotel, the name of the hotel in the Amazigh language, which translates into Arabic as "White Mountain" Hotel, this hotel is one of the strangest hotels in the world, if not the strangest, and which takes you away from the life of noise, noise and technology and takes you back to a time before the era of speed and technology
In this hotel, there is no such thing as electricity, no mobile phone, or anything from our current era, everything there is from nature and from the desert environment, meaning that all lighting is through candles and lanterns, and the food depends on vegetables grown in the hotel garden, and cooking depends on the traditional methods that the people of the desert used to cook in the past
The hotel is a salt hotel (built with salt stone)
Component
A 40-room hotel built in the middle of the desert on the outskirts of the Siwa Oasis. Its walls were built entirely of sand and Siwan soil, which we call "Irig", which is salt covered with clay and is considered a heat-insulating building material like mud bricks. It was used in construction in Siwa for thousands of years, making Adrar Amalal like a cool oasis in the middle of the scorching heat of the desert.
The hotel doors are wooden, the ceilings of the rooms are made of palm trees, and all the furniture is primitive from nature. It is surrounded by 7 of the largest lakes in Siwa, with olive and palm trees in harmony that makes you feel like you have entered a time gap that took you back thousands of years.
Many tourists come specifically to stay at this hotel to live the experience, and the most famous person who visited the hotel and stayed in it was King Charles of England and his wife.
