Have you ever heard of "sweet oil" and "sour oil"?

Crude oil doesn't come in the same quality. It's classified based on its sulfur content:

● Sweet oil: Contains a low sulfur content (less than 0.5%). This type is considered superior because it's easier to refine and produces larger quantities of cleaner fuels like gasoline and diesel. Therefore, it's more expensive in the market.

● Sour oil: Contains a high sulfur content, making it more difficult to refine and less commercially valuable. It also has an unpleasant odor due to the sulfur compounds present in it.

Fact: The lower the sulfur content in oil, the higher its quality and the easier it is to refine.
