A Brilliant Method And Idea You Should Know.

If you're on a forest trip or camping alone in the wilderness or mountains, the idea is to use a water filter made from half an upturned plastic bottle, with different layers:

1. A layer of large gravel: Prevents the passage of large particles such as leaves or insects.

2. A layer of activated charcoal: Absorbs odors and bad tastes and kills some bacteria.

3. A layer of fine sand: Filters out very small impurities.

4. A layer of small gravel or coarse sand: Helps distribute the water and prevent clogging of the filter.

Contaminated water flows down from above and passes through all these layers, ultimately reaching the cleaner container below. However, it's important to note that it's not necessarily safe to drink immediately, and it's best to boil it before use.
