Dutch Seismologist Sparks Controversy  with Video on the Pyramids "Who Built the Pyramids?"

After a long absence from the public eye, the controversial Dutch seismologist Frank Hoogbaits has returned with a new video, this time focusing on the Pyramids of Giza, sparking widespread debate on social media.

What did Frank Hoogerbeets propose?

He released a video titled: "Who Built the Pyramids of Giza?"

He claimed that some research suggests the pyramids were built with highly advanced astronomical knowledge.

He stated that this knowledge includes the sizes of planets, the speed of light, and apogee points.

He argued that this is knowledge the ancient Egyptians "could not" have possessed at the time of construction.

Pink Granite and "Unexplained" Holes

He pointed to the presence of tiny circular holes in pink granite.

He described granite as an extremely hard stone.

He said that drilling it requires special drills.

He claimed that history does not prove the ancient Egyptians possessed this technology.

How Were the Pyramids Built?

He said we don't know for sure how, why, or exactly when the pyramids were built.

He pointed out that the stones used are enormous and weigh many tons.

He confirmed that the solid granite was transported from distances of hundreds of kilometers.

He questioned how the transportation and construction processes were accomplished.

Alignment of the Giza Plateau

He explained that the pyramids are not perfectly straight.

He pointed out that the pyramid of Menkaure is not on the same line.

He confirmed that the pyramids are almost perfectly aligned with the north direction.

Linking the Pyramids to the Planets

He based his arguments on the conclusions of the scientist Hans Glito.

He linked the dimensions of the pyramid bases to the sizes of the sun and the earth, and the speed of light.

He said that the ratio of the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza to that of Khafre is about 1.168.

He compared this to the ratio of the size of the earth to Venus, 1.167.

He considered the deviation to be no more than 0.1%

Inner Planets Hypothesis

Linking the Great Pyramid of Giza to Earth

Linking the Pyramid of Khafre to Venus

Linking the Pyramid of Menkaure to Mercury

He argued that this corresponds to the different sizes of the pyramids and planets

Astronomical Alignment of 3088 BC

He claimed that an exact alignment occurred in April and May of 3088 BC

He stated that Mercury, Venus, and Earth aligned in the same way as the pyramids

He asserted that this alignment only occurs when Mercury is at aphelion

Additional Ratios and Equations

Menkaure's base ÷ Khufu's base ≈ 0.458

Mercury's aphelion ÷ Earth's aphelion ≈ 0.459

He stated that the deviation does not exceed 0.2%

This percentage is related to the Egyptian unit of measurement, the "cubit" (0.457 meters).

Equations presented by Hooghbyts:

Khufu's Rule ÷ Light-second = Earth's Volume ÷ Sun's Volume

Khufu's Volume ÷ Khafre's Volume = Earth's Volume ÷ Venus's Volume

Menkaure's Rule ÷ Khufu's Rule = Mercury's Perihelion ÷ Earth's Perihelion

His concluding questions:

He stated that this is advanced astronomical knowledge that "goes beyond traditional understanding."

He asked: How did the ancient Egyptians know these values?

He argued that the recurring similarities could not be mere coincidence.

He hinted at the possibility of future discoveries that could change our understanding of the pyramids.

Previous Scientific Responses

The controversy referenced Elon Musk's previous statements about "aliens."

Archaeologist Zahi Hawass completely denied these claims.

Hawass based his argument on the Wadi al-Jarf Papyrus.

He explained that the papyrus describes the transportation of stones and the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

He affirmed that the ancient Egyptians possessed the necessary knowledge and organization for construction.

The reappearance of Hoogerbitz reopens a long-standing debate about the Giza pyramids, amidst controversial astronomical hypotheses and scientific and archaeological interpretations that confirm ancient Egyptian civilization, with its knowledge and organization, was capable of constructing its greatest monuments without needing explanations outside of established historical context.
