UFO 1971 - Spain's Most Terrifying UFO Incident | PENÍ MILITARY BASE

The intrusion of a Nordic alien into a Spanish military base in 1971 remains a closely guarded secret in Spain, despite numerous sightings of the alien and at least 60 people reporting seeing a flying object over the base.

The Spanish military base in Peni houses the 4th Air Surveillance Squadron (EVA-4), an advanced air combat unit of the Spanish Ministry of Defense. The base also houses a radar system that is part of the national network and integrated into NATO's air defense system.

On the evening of March 25, 1971, a soldier named Leandro observed an unidentified flying object in the sky. The object suddenly exploded with an extremely bright light, causing Leandro to experience what appeared to be temporary blindness. The soldier shouted, and his comrades rushed to his aid, including Jesús Jofre, who later recounted the story to the Spanish atmospheric researcher Antonio Ribera, who published an article about the incident in 1972 in the journal *Algo*.

Leandro was sitting on the ground, hunched over in fear, his eyes covered with his hands, clearly in shock. The base's service dogs were also barking furiously and with unprecedented agitation. Jesús and his comrades tried to calm Leandro, and when he removed his hands from his eyes, it became clear that they were red and irritated, as if they had been subjected to a powerful stimulus.

Then all the soldiers saw a bright object in the sky. The unidentified flying object was hovering directly above the large antenna. After a short time, it sped away.

Jesús then went to the dog kennels to calm the dogs, which continued to bark frantically. He noticed a dog named Narvik barking with extraordinary intensity and trying desperately to escape. Jesús decided to release the dog, and Narvik immediately galloped toward the administrative buildings, about 300 meters from the soldiers' barracks.

When Jesús and the other soldiers arrived, they found Narvik standing there, growling and staring into the darkness. After a while, they saw a green glow ahead. The glow gradually faded, and then they heard a loud noise and rattle coming from the bushes near the fence.

Next, they heard heavy footsteps. Something large was advancing toward them. A few seconds later, the soldiers were horrified to see a strange human-like creature approaching them, over two meters tall. After the initial panic subsided, the soldiers remembered they were soldiers and ordered the stranger to stop, but he ignored their orders and continued advancing.

The soldiers opened fire, but the bullets did not cause any significant harm to the creature. In the light of the gunshots, Jesús Jovré could see that the stranger was wearing tight clothing and carrying a belt with an inverted triangle symbol.

After confirming that the bullets had no effect on the alien, the soldiers simply stood and watched as the humanoid calmly moved away. Shortly afterward, a radar signal indicated the presence of an unidentified flying object in the sky above the base, moving away at high speed.

Jesús described the alien as having an "angelic" appearance, very white, extremely thin, tall, and with long hair. Atmospheric researchers believe it is likely one of the creatures known as "Northern Aliens," a rare type of alien that visits Earth and resembles the inhabitants of the Nordic countries (Scandinavians).

After the Northern Alien departed, the soldiers searched the perimeter of the base and discovered that part of the perimeter fence had been damaged. However, they found nothing else unusual. Leandro went to the doctor, and although his symptoms appeared to be only slight redness, his eyes slowly returned to normal, and he underwent a lengthy treatment for the strange "irritation." As for the dog, Narvik, he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and physical exhaustion, and he couldn't drink water for a long time after the incident.

When Jesus and his comrades reported what had happened to their superiors, they didn't take the incident seriously; some even accused the soldiers of being drunk. However, their reputation was salvaged two days later, on the night of March 27, when another unidentified flying object was spotted over the base. Witnesses were able to alert officers and other personnel on the base. This time, it was smaller than the first, and about 60 people saw it.

On the night of March 29, 1971, an unidentified flying object reappeared on the radar at Pennine Air Force Base, and two fighter jets were immediately scrambled to intercept it. As they approached, the object sped away.

However, this remains an unofficial account, as the official version completely denies that the fighter jets were scrambled to intercept the object. Shortly afterward, personnel in U.S. Air Force uniforms arrived at Pennine Air Force Base. They thoroughly questioned all the witnesses and then strongly advised the soldiers to forget about the incident and not give it any importance. Then, for reasons that remain unclear, the soldiers were taken outside the base and led to a spot with a white wall reflecting direct sunlight. They stood in front of this wall, and a group photograph was taken using a very powerful flash.

The reason for using such a powerful flash in sunlight remains a mystery.
