A French photographer traveled to Morocco, specifically to the Merzouga desert, and that's where he came across something truly unexpected.
The animal in the photographs is known as the sand cat, or desert cat , a rare wild cat perfectly adapted to survive in harsh desert environments.
And here's the surprising part...
Many people around the world had never even heard of this tiny desert predator , and honestly, neither had I! 😳
But there’s another interesting part to the story.
The French photographer was introduced to the area by a Moroccan photographer who has spent years photographing wildlife in the desert.
