Croatian is a nature reserve located about 140 kilometers south of the Croatian capital Zagreb on the road to Zadar, stretching over an area of 30 thousand hectares and visit the lake nearly a million visitors a year. Plitvice Lakes have been recorded on the list of World Natural Heritage of UNESCO in the year 1979.
