History of Capua arc
The Capua arch was built between the latter half of the first century and the beginning of the second century and was also believed to have been built because of the visit of Emperor Hadrian but later turned out to be otherwise. It was assumed that the arch was built during the Flavian dynasty

The Capua arch was built of bricks and originally was white limestone exterior but lost over time and the central arc of the wider side arches and columns are encased in the base with blocks of white limestone and inward traffic columns with some openings
