The winner of this year's award was highlighted at the "Travelers Choice Awards" run by TripAdvisor, the Au Crocodile restaurant in Strasbourg, France.
The ranking is based on millions of opinions and ratings shared by TripAdvisor users, and restaurants are evaluated using an algorithm that takes into account both the quantity and quality of restaurant reviews around the world, which were aggregated over 12 months.
