The park includes several natural ensembles, such as the Gomer Forest Massif, 9 km of beaches and cornices, multiple caves, cliffs and chasms... The park is also composed of mountainous areas at low altitudes, its point culiminant is Mount Koudiet El Kern at 1121 metres above sea level. The terrain is hilly with large slopes, Plusisuers Rivers furrow the park area, including Oued Taza and Wadi Dar El Oued. Because of its great richness and diversity, the Parc de Taza has been recognized by UNESCO since the 2004 World Biosphere Reserve. The park stretches over an area of 3807 ha and is considered unique in the Mediterranean basin because of its diversity.
