This mountain is considered a sacred site for the followers of the Buddhist religion, and its name means "the pure land of Brahma" and its summit is known as the red summit of the red cloud.


Mount Fanjing is located at an altitude of 2570 meters within the "Wuling" mountain range in Guizhou Province, southwest of the People's Republic of China.
