Ghosts of Lake Como, Castle of Visio, Italy

 

These statues were created to embody the legend that they are the spirits of the Lombard warriors charged with protecting Queen Theodolinda for a long time.

The statues are renewed every year by volunteers after being vandalized by weather and wind.
