The Majorelle Garden 🌴 in Marrakech . MOROCCO

During a recent trip to Morocco 🇲🇦 , I had the privilege of visiting the Majorelle Garden 🌴 in Marrakech,  I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

The Majorelle Garden was originally created by French artist Jacques Majorelle and later restored by French designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé. Spanning over 12 acres, this garden is famous for its blue accented buildings and fountains.

As I explored the garden, I was captivated by the marble pools and channels that reflect Moroccan tradition. The abundance of trees, including banana trees, bamboo, and cacti, created a lush and secluded atmosphere, allowing for a sense of peace and serenity.

In addition to the gardens, the Majorelle Garden also houses a wonderful bookshop and a Berber Museum. The museum showcases a collection of artifacts, costumes, and jewels, offering a glimpse into the ancient North African culture and traditional Berber society.

While the garden is open all year round, I recommend visiting in the spring or fall to avoid the extreme heat or cold that can be experienced during other seasons.
