He declared that the Earth is hollow and habitable and that it contains a series of solid concentric spheres, one inside the other, which are open at the poles at an angle of 12 or 16 degrees [i.e. 4,000 to 6,000 miles wide]. I swear on my life "to support this truth and I am willing to explore the cave if the world will support me in this effort."
