One of the strangest scientific experiments in history!
In 1972, French scientist Michel siffer decided to undergo an unprecedented experiment, during which he volunteered to cut off his connection with the outside world in order to study the effect of isolation and loss of sense of time on humans.
The experiment was so exciting and mysterious that its results still amaze scientists to this day. Sever spent 180 days in a cave 135 meters underground, without a clock, without the sun, and without any human contact. He abandoned all human comforts, and was content only with observing the rhythm of his internal body in the pitch darkness of the cave.
At first, everything seemed normal.
Sever recorded his activities and wrote a diary, but over time something strange happened; his biological clock began to gradually deviate.
With no external time signals, he completely lost sense of time.
The usual 24-hour cycle ceased to exist.
His body adapted to a new 48-hour cycle: 36 hours of wakefulness and 12 hours of deep sleep.
