Unlocking Passport Colors What They Mean!

Did you know that passports around the world come in just four main colors? Each color carries its own significance, shaped by cultural, geographical, and political influences.

Red is the most common, seen in European Union countries and densely populated nations like China and Russia. It’s also the choice of the Andean Community countries.

Then there's blue, which symbolizes the New World. Fifteen Caribbean nations and countries like Brazil and Argentina proudly display this color, representing their membership in Mercosur.

Green is often linked to Islam, used by Muslim-majority countries like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Interestingly, it’s also adopted by Mexico and the Vatican, along with members of ECOWAS.

Finally, black is the rarest passport color. Countries like Angola and New Zealand use it, with New Zealand embracing black as a national color.

So next time you see a passport, remember the stories and meanings behind its color!
