You'll see the drive through the landscape, including the picture-perfect intersect with channels, authentic wooden houses and windmills and fishing villages, traditional crafts as witness of the past few days.
It is famous for its picturesque village of Zaanse Schans wonderful original buildings, for a vivid picture of the life of Dutch in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
As you will see the historic building ships and windmills, and a visit to a shoemaker who works with wood to see the direct and rule-making techniques!
After that, you have to travel to the famous fishing villages of Volendam and globally Marken, the former Zoaderze Coast (now called Aiggsielmer) in addition to the old wooden houses built on the pillars and the locals still wear colorful traditional clothes.
Then you can take a trip for about 20 minutes by boat from Volendam to Marken, with approximately 45 minutes at each station (in summer only).
