Megalodon was bigger than dinosaurs and whales and fortunately it is extinct
It could have swallowed its own ships and looked like a stocky version of a great white shark, although its shape might have been similar to a basking shark or a sand tiger shark. Megalodon may have had a profound influence on the structure of marine societies, and the fossil record indicates that it had a cosmopolitan distribution. It may have targeted large prey such as whales, pinnipeds and sea turtles. The young inhabited the warm coastal waters, where they fed on fish and small whales.
