 The largest subwoofer ever built

The Mitsubishi Diatone D160, the largest subwoofer ever built, is 60 inches in size and weighs 800 kg.

It can easily shatter windows and produce small earthquakes that can be felt as ground vibrations within a radius of 2 km.

The test was initially conducted in a measuring room, but was stopped because ceiling lights fell due to vibrations.

The outdoor test seemed to have a negative impact on the neighborhood. At about 100 m from the subwoofer the sound was felt but at a greater distance it was transmitted as vibration and noise on the ground rather than as an audible sound. Within a radius of 2 km from the factory, damage occurred such as vibrations and small earthquakes, as well as the sounds of walls and windows.
